meme shift

meme shift is a poetic hypermedia work by Teri Hoskin "developed during a residency at the Media Resource Centre, Adelaide, South Australia, supported by a grant from the Media Resource Centre and the New Media Fund of the Australia Council, the Federal Government's arts funding and advisory body." Visitors can expect to explore an interconnected series of web spaces that intermingle text, image, and interactivity to create meaning. -- from the work's "About" page

"Teri Hoskin is a visual artist and writer. She tries to generate places where the text falls apart, where it vibrates, (wave, movement and force). This writing is integral to her practice which spans two fields; mixed media installation work for contemporary gallery spaces and site editor and assembler for the Electronic Writing Research Ensemble. Teri lives and works in Adelaide South Australia." -- from About the Contributors, frAme, Issue 3, 2000
