ELO Recordings

Readings, performances, exhibitions, and other ephemeral activities are kept alive by video and sound recordings so that future generations can experience the events and understand their contribution to a larger art perspective. These recordings produced by ELO members and affiliates capture much of the early excitement of the field and lay bare the. challenges artists and scholars faced in trying to harness digital technologies for live events. These materials also showcase the pioneers of the field of born-digital art at the time when so little of the population recognized the form or its value to culture.
