Poems That Go

Poems That Go (2000-2004) is an online journal founded by Megan Sapnar Ankerson and Ingrid Ankerson that featured multimedia net art, many of which were produced with Flash software. As the name suggests, it showcased kinetic poetry in its 14 issues published over the course of five years. It is still considered one of the premier journals of the period.

First contact with the editors of the journal was made in Summer of 2016. In Spring of 2019, the local files for all of the works in Poems That Go came from Megan Sapner Ankerson and Ingrid Ankerson to the Electronic Literature Lab. The files were held in the ELO Repository at the Electronic Textual Cultures Lab, and later moved to the ELO server in 2019 where they became accessible via The NEXT.
