The Stephanie Strickland Collection

Stephanie Strickland is an award-winning poet who produces both print and digital works and experiments in a variety of forms. In 2023 she received the Marjorie C. Luesebrink Career Achievement Award from the Electronic Literature Organization. Her collection features six of her most prominent web-based works, including slippingglimpse (2007), "The Ballad of Sand and Harry Soot" (1999), and Sea and Spar Between (2011), as well as records associated with her hypertext novel, True North. Also included are CD-ROMs, flyers, and planning materials from the TechnoPoetry Festival that she created and chaired while serving as Artist-in-Residence at Georgia Tech on April 1-2, 2002. Also among her archives are many of her other born-digital works, as well as those by other artists she has collected over her long career.

In Spring of 2018, Stephanie Strickland transferred the collection (digital and physical materials) to the ELL. Physical materials have since been held at the ELL. The digital materials were held in the ELO Repository at the Electronic Textual Cultures Lab, later moved to the ELO server in 2019.
