"locomotive and creatures" features Nelson's characteristically layered approach to poetic interfaces. In this work, one hovers over the central strip (striped in black and white) to expand each of its sections and reveal a textual passage, while other words fly around the screen. It features a deep, driving background track reminiscent of a locomotive in motion.
