Experiencing the Work
Once the work has loaded, the visitor is presented with a page of circular buttons that activate birds and their songs. Once clicked, the background color of the button changes color but it is very similar to the color of the clouds and it can be difficult to tell which birds are in flight. Likewise, many visual elements overlap and may be difficult to distinguish from one another. It is possible to activate birds and their songs with cursor movement and click or using the keyboard / other similar non-mouse method. Animated birds form and fly around and out of the screen. The birds may be formed of mostly serifed alphabetic letters which move very quickly or letters may move, appear and disappear quickly. As letters appear, they may be very small and move too quickly to read. A copy of this work preserved with Conifer will have text that is inaccessible to screen reading software and other such tools.
