"'High Crimson' is an interactive fiction about the love between two women of Paris in the 1930s. The story is a pretext for a reflection on art and includes many quotes and references to artists and writers like Rothko, Barthes, Stendhal. This is a much larger work than it appears at first glance. A plethora of links point to impressive amounts of text and visual animation. The site uses several formal devices: position sensors provide access to new parts of the story, popups are used through reading, etc. This work was developed for a fourth generation browser." -- Moana LaDouceur and Mathieu Simoneau, NT2
