A part of Strasser's Project Hope, "be*" is an interactive visual poem made with Flash, and set to the light, contemplative music of a pan flute. "Beware your hope," reads the piece, though as the user clicks a small button on its underside, its language shifts to reflect on the dangers of love as well, animation suggesting that love and hope are two sides of a coin. There is one exception, insists the poem--we do not need to beware of hope in and love of one thing: knowledge.
