Acid-Free Bits: Recommendations for Long-Lasting Electronic Literature

Acid-Free Bits was produced by the ELO's Preservation, Archiving, and Dissemination (PAD) Project. As stated by the Board of Directors, "The Electronic Literature Organization offers Acid-Free Bits to writers, readers, scholars, and librarians who are concerned about the future of the digital arts. It is one document in an ongoing project of the Electronic Literature Organization for the Preservation, Archiving, and Dissemination (PAD) of electronic literature. The ELO hopes that Acid-Free Bits will assist in the creation of literature that will continue to be accessible to readers everywhere."
