"Fog Game" (Jogo da Neblina) purports to be based on the work of Julien Sorel. As Pinto notes, Sorel created the original "by making an association between human behavior and the properties of the fog contained in cubes he collected in the Serra do Mar. The original game has been lost. The one we are presenting now is based on the notes the explorer left behind, dated 1830. We have allowed ourselves some poetic / scientific license and updated it from the basis of some late 20th-century thinkers, including Jean Baudrillard. We do not know why Stendhal did not recount these events in his classic 'The Red and the Black.'"
