"Memorial for the Victims of Terror" was initiated and created by Agricola de Cologne in September of 2001 as a reaction to the September 11th terror attacks in the United States, but it "is dedicated to all victims of terror, as terror happens in all parts of the world at any time. The principle of those attacks is to hit innocent citizens - the more, the better. During the years countless of them died, vanished in anonymity and are forgotten. This Memorial is a place to remember all them, noone will be forgotten." -- Agricola de Cologne Many artists submitted to the Memorial over a number of years. The artworks relate to various terror attacks in New York, Bali, London, and Madrid.
