This chapter enumerates "both the challenges and promises of #WomenTechLit—the negotiations this volume charts in the evolving dynamics between code and screen, tradition and innovation, women-specific writing and the common tongue, digital access and broader community, empowerment and constraint. Readers who look to this volume for some kind of final resolution will not find it here. What they—or better, we--will encounter, however, are resources richer than this brief foreword can encompass. These chapters invite us to puzzle over them, speculate about them, and draw upon them.
