Lasting Image

"Lasting Image offers twin views of a single story, whose link portals open to each other and extend outward to tangential, but associated versions. The links here are simple in how they act but not what they do. We move between clarity and ambiguity along the blurred margin where control and lack of control flow together. Besides the forward and back arrows, identically mapped link portals on the images are visible in the waterpaper views and invisible in the clear views. The invisible text links are identical in both views as well, while on tangential screens they vary. In general links have to be sought out by feeling." -- Michael Joyce
