Ebb and Flow

"Sonya's an engineer that currently lives in Toronto and works at the Toronto Rehabilitation Institute. Jesse Gilbert is a composer, multi-instrumentalist, and software engineer who has developed an extensive body of work centering around aspects of improvisation and cross-disciplinary collaboration, with a focus on networks and experimentation with new media. Nina Sobell is a New York-based artist who has produced a broad body of work embracing various themes, strategies, and mediums, including video, performance, installation, sculpture and live TV. A series of three performances streamed live over the web that explore the relationship of technology, sound, and biological processes. Conceptualized by web-artists Nina Sobell and Jesse Gilbert, Ebb and Flow will consist of weekly webcasts of electronic experiments carried out using musical instruments, electroencephalographic devices (EEG), MIDI, and video." -- From Turbulence
