MARK-IT

"Esmeralda Kosmatopoulos is a multi-disciplinary conceptual artist working around language and identity. MARK-IT is an App-based, participatory, public art project in New York City. From May 1 to June 30, participants will be able to download the app to their phones and select a color; their movements through the five boroughs will then generate an organic matrix of lines drawn on a virtual white canvas at the scale of the city. The living, breathing artwork will be visible online in real-time. As co-creators of the artwork, participants will receive a numbered edition of the final drawing." -- From Turbulence
