The hypertext novel won an international award, was widely reviewed, taught in universities, became the subject of master's theses in Europe and was read by thousands on the World Wide Web. It is now considered one of the Cult Classics of hypertext fiction.
The Unknown: An Anthology was never published, and the book tour never occurred.
