The NEXT is an initiative of the Electronic Literature Organization, a 501 (c) 3 non-profit organization funded primarily by memberships. Though The NEXT receives some support from the organization, it thrives on its materials, funds, and labor provided by patrons who value the cultural history forged by artists and scholars of born-digital literature.
