This first episode of "Inanimate Alice" made its debut in 2005 and was re-published in the ELO's Electronic Literature Collection 1 in 2006. The authors say that the work "depicts the life of a young girl growing up in the early years of the 21st century through her blog and episodic multimedia adventures that span her life from childhood through to her twenties.
