AB - "12 Artists - 12 Pages" was realized "in february 2003 as a contribution to the <em>Wandering Library</em> Project. 11 artists, working primarily on the Net over the last years, have been invited to create a page for the transparent book (the book of glass). . . <br><br>The aesthetics of the single pages and the book as a whole creates a conjunction between the digital medium and the print medium. The transparecy - like a multi layered construction of form and content in a web page, web project or site - visualizes a global (multicultural) sight formed from different personal views.<br><br>The book can be handled (interactively) in different ways: by traditional browsing, by using a white sheet of paper to focus on a single page or some pages, by loosing the clips and arranging the pages following your own preferences." -- Reiner Strasser, February 2003 (from the book's back cover)
