"Born in Lorain, Ohio on November 5, 1970, he began writing poetry in his early teens, shortly after the death of his father.

'tone row poetry' is an algorithmically mediated synaesthesia. Inspired by 20th century composer Arnold Schoenberg's serialist music, the work matches the English alphabet with tones from the chromatic western scale. Every letter is a note, and a few are several. Add to this electric guitar, digital waveform synthesizer coloring, and some wildcard events, all performed by LaCook, and 'tone row poetry' becomes a writing machine that is also an alien orchestra." -- From Turbulence
