Walter Vannini's Italian translation of Michael Joyce's afternoon, a story, constitutes the 7th Edition of the work. First published on two 3.5-inch floppy disks for Mac and Windows in RA-DIO, an experimental series called "Elettrolibri" by Castelvecchi Editore and Human Systems, it was re-published in 2007 with the 14th Edition of afternoon, a story by Eastgate Systems, Inc. when the Joyce's hypertext novel was developed for the CD-ROM format. Human Systems had the rights to afternoon in Italian while Castelvecchi Editore oversaw the print volume and had the rights for RA-DIO.
