Marble Springs 1.0, a masterwork by Deena Larsen, is a series of narrative poems fashioned in the tradition of Edgar Lee Masters' Spoon River Anthology that tells moving stories about the lives of the women who lived and died in the Western mining town, Marble Springs, CO. Created in HyperCard 2.0, the work invites exploration of the terrain through its clickable map and an interactive menu. Larsen went on to create two versions of the work, with Version 3.0 built on Wikidot for the Web in 2012.
